What’s the Best Way to Find Quality Used Parts for My Low/Mid-Tier PC Build?

I'm looking to build a low to mid-range PC and I've heard that websites like FB Marketplace and eBay are popular for finding used parts. However, I'm curious if there are other good resources I should consider. I want to get the best deal I can while ensuring I still get solid performance. Should I start by searching for a whole used PC and then find parts to fill in the gaps, or is there a better approach? Any tips on what to look out for in the used parts market would be greatly appreciated! Also, I'm not sure about the right subreddit for this, so sorry if I posted in the wrong place!

Local deals are often better than online platforms like eBay due to lower costs and no shipping fees, though it really depends on your area. I've found that it's safest to buy combined components, like a CPU, motherboard, and RAM all together, rather than purchasing the motherboard separately. It reduces the risk of getting a faulty part. For CPU options, I recommend sticking to decent models like the i5 10400/11400 or Ryzen 3600/5600 systems.

Thanks for the info! That definitely makes sense to buy them as a package.
