I'm about to move and have a 12-13 hour drive ahead of me. I'm really anxious about transporting my PC. I've heard I need to remove the GPU, but I'm unsure about how to package the rest of the components. I looked into carrying bags, but my case is larger than the ones I've found (470 x 320 x 470mm). What are the best practices for this?

If you have an air cooler, you might want to use foam padding like what prebuilts come with to secure the interior. It helps stabilize everything during transit.
Just remove the GPU and you should be good! You can use a garbage bag or something to cover it, but as long as you don't leave it outside in the rain, it’ll be fine. Just make sure it’s secured so it doesn’t bounce around.
Are you planning on taking it with you in your car? If so, it’s best to leave the GPU in and lay the PC case on its side with the motherboard facing down. For shipping, the expanding foam inserts work wonderfully.
I’m definitely taking it with me; I’m not comfortable shipping it out.
