What’s the Best Way to Sell My Son’s GPU?

My son is putting together his first gaming PC, but one of the components, the GPU, is too snug against the radiator in his case. We think we might not be able to return it to Memory Express, so we're considering selling it instead. Does anyone have advice on how to sell the GPU and get a fair price for it?

Honestly, it might be easier to just swap out the case for a bigger one instead of selling the GPU. That way, you don't have to deal with the hassle of selling it and possibly losing money. Plus, cases can be relatively affordable!

Yeah, if you really want to return it and think Memory Express would take it back, why not try? Just because it’s a bit snug doesn't mean it’s unusable. They might just accept it back if there’s nothing wrong with it.

If you think you got a good deal on the GPU, hang onto it and consider upgrading the case later. Right now, the market isn't as hot as it was during the pandemic, so you might take a loss if you sell it now. Plus, who knows if you'll find another GPU that fits better?

Memory Express has a policy for open box returns within 15 days, so you might want to check if you qualify. If you’re past that period, selling online or locally could be a good option, just be honest about its condition when you list it.

We missed the 15-day window. That's unfortunate, but I appreciate the advice!
