I'm new to the whole PC building scene and feeling a bit lost with all the details. I have a budget of $2000 to get started. Where should I focus my efforts first, and what components should I consider?

I suggest starting with the GPU since it's one of the most important parts for gaming performance. Once you have that down, you can figure out the rest of your build. If you're near a Microcenter, you might be able to snag a decent deal on a CPU, motherboard, and RAM for about $400, which could save you some cash for other components like the case and power supply.
Yeah, I totally get that. It's overwhelming but worth it in the end. If you need help picking components later, just ask!

That's solid advice! Just keep in mind that you might have to add a little more to your budget for things like a good case or cooling solutions. But starting with the GPU is definitely the way to go!
