Hey everyone! I'm based in the UK and I'm curious about how to watch live free-to-air channels on my new Android tablet. I want something simple to use, like a basic TV guide to easily pick what to watch while I'm cooking. I remember the Firestick had an app called 'TVplayer' that worked well, but I can't find it on the Google Play Store now. I've tried the Freeview app, but it looks like it's just for catch-up shows. Also, does anyone know if Now TV offers freeview channels? I recently got a good deal for their entertainment pack. I've heard of the new Freely service that lets you stream Freeview without an aerial, but I really want to stick to my tablet for convenience. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

You might not need a dedicated app! Most TV stations have their own websites where you can log in and access live TV directly. Just set it up the first time, and you'll be good to go!
Actually, those catch-up apps can do live TV too! If you use the Freeview app, it has a guide that links to the catch-up services for live viewing. Just check it out!

Right ok, wasn't aware of that, thank you!
