Hey everyone, I'm new to Linux and am considering trying out Ubuntu. I've heard about the difference between Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS and Ubuntu 25.04 but I'm not sure what it really means. I mainly come from a Windows background, so any insights on which version I should go for would be super helpful!

Honestly, I'd stick with LTS unless you have specific needs for the latest software. It's designed to be stable over many years (five years of support), so if you're just getting into Linux, you'll find it a smoother experience without worrying about constant updates.
Trying out 25.04 might be alright too, especially if you're feeling adventurous and want the latest and greatest right away. You can always boot it from a USB to check it out without making a permanent change. But remember, LTS is really the 'safe main road' while the other is like going off the beaten path!
