What’s the estimated value of my custom PC setup?

I'm looking to gauge the market value of my custom-built PC, which has some pretty high-end specs: a Ryzen 9 3DFX processor, an Rog Astral 5090 graphics card, 128 GB of DDR5 RAM, a 5TB m.2 NVME setup (1 + 4 configuration), and an 8 TB PATA storage drive. It's housed in an NZXT case and the motherboard is an MSI X870E-P pro. I also included a TRYX Panorama SE 360 liquid cooling kit. Any thoughts on what this setup might sell for?

I’d say you’re looking at a minimum of $4000, and it could go as high as $5000 depending on the demand.

You can start by checking out this website where you can input all your parts for their new prices. For used parts, eBay and other resale sites can give you a good idea, too. Just keep in mind the wear and tear on used components.

Ah, that's a solid tip! I’ll definitely check out that site, thanks a bunch!

Honestly, your PC could be worth around $10,000 AUD to the right buyer, but keep in mind that many people might prefer to buy new for that price rather than risk getting a used setup without warranties. With highly customized builds like yours, sometimes it's better to sell the parts individually since each element might attract a specific buyer more willing to pay top dollar. Selling it intact could lead to some compromises for buyers.

Just so you know, that 8 TB PATA drive is a bit of a red flag, as those don’t exist! I’m guessing you meant SATA, right?

Yeah, you caught me! It’s definitely SATA—those old spinning disks from my previous rig.
