Hey everyone! I've got an i7 9700 paired with a Z390 TOMAHAWK motherboard. I'm thinking about upgrading my RAM since my current ones are running at 2666 MHz. My motherboard can handle RAM speeds up to 4400 MHz, but I'm not sure if I can actually use 3200 or 3600 MHz memory with this processor. Any thoughts or advice?

Honestly, it's probably not worth it to invest in faster RAM right now. DDR4 production has slowed down, and prices are on the rise. You might want to save up and do a bigger upgrade—including your CPU, motherboard, and RAM—when you can.
I wouldn't spend the money on that upgrade either. Have you thought about overclocking your existing RAM? You might be able to bump it up a little without needing to replace anything, which could save you some cash.
That's a good point! Do you know what the safe overclock limit would be for 2666 MHz RAM?
