I'm diving into building a new PC and I want to make sure it can handle any graphically intense games at 1440p with at least 60 FPS on max settings. Can anyone share insights on the minimum GPU V-RAM I should be aiming for?

I totally agree, 16GB is becoming more of a necessity. My 4070 Super with 12GB can handle most games on max, but some newer titles can push VRAM limits quickly, so 16GB is definitely a safer bet for longevity.
For 1440p gaming on max settings, I'd recommend at least 12GB of VRAM, but 16GB is really the sweet spot these days. It gives you more headroom for future games and settings.
Yeah, I've noticed that with some games. Even my 5080 struggles occasionally, and it’s got 16GB. Games like Hogwarts Legacy can get demanding, so I’d say aiming for 16GB is wise!
