I've been curious about the speed improvements for Claude Code. Are there any updates on when we might see it become significantly faster? Or should we anticipate focusing on quality enhancements before speed? I can't help but imagine how much more efficient my workflow would be if the responses were instant!

Honestly, I don't find Claude Code too slow—I'd even say it's a bit fast for my liking! I usually check the output closely, so it might seem slower during that process. But still, it'd be nice if responses were instantaneous, right? It feels like we've been waiting for that next big leap in development speed.
I feel you! I'm really hoping for faster workflows too. It would be amazing if tasks could be completed in no time at all. It seems like they're aiming to make the process more agentic, where you assign a task and return to a finished result in about 15 minutes. That would be a game-changer for the more detailed work.
From my experience, it's really quite fast. The speed is a bit hard to gauge because Claude handles so many files at once, but for me, the performance is impressive. Just thinking about when we'll have technology that gives you what you prompt instantly is exciting! We're not quite there yet, but I can dream!
Exactly! If I could speed up the inconsequential tasks, that would be awesome. Right now, getting a minor UI change takes about 10-20 seconds, which is already a huge time-saver compared to doing it myself. Just imagining instant results is mind-blowing!
