I'm curious about the point at which organizations begin to pay for fonts. I've noticed licensed fonts being used in documents from designers, for software requirements, and on special labels for printing. However, I've seen many small businesses shrug off the idea of font licensing. Isn't there a threshold where it becomes necessary to avoid legal issues? Do companies eventually put some serious thought into font management?

In my experience, even small businesses should be paying for fonts. If you're already using licensed software, why not include the fonts? It's essentially the same concept. Using free fonts that are similar or subscribing to services like Adobe Creative Cloud, which includes font licenses, can be a good option.
That makes a lot of sense! It's funny how font licensing often gets overlooked while companies are cautious about other software.
