I'm planning to upgrade my PC but I'm unsure about the best time to buy components at the lowest prices. I'm looking to get an RTX 5070 TI, a 7 9800X3D processor, and a motherboard for the 9800X3D. It's early in the Black Friday season and so far I haven't seen any significant discounts—just $20 to $50 off. Should I wait for Black Friday or Cyber Monday for better deals on GPUs? I've heard that AMD usually has good discounts during this period. Also, I want to know if it's worth it to look for discounts on the AMD processor and motherboard during the Black Friday sales? This is my first experience with Black Friday sales, so I could really use any suggestions or advice on when to buy. I'm in Australia, by the way. I've seen some discussions suggesting that waiting for Black Friday might not be worth it—what do you think?

As mentioned, Black Friday is usually pretty underwhelming for hardware discounts. In the future, try checking sites like OzBargain, PCPP, and some local deal pages. You might find some good sales popping up at unexpected times throughout the year.
Your English is great, no worries! If you find good info, I'd love to hear it.
Black Friday isn’t usually great for PC components. Discounts tend to be very minimal—you're looking at small rebates or maybe a free game. If you're eyeing the GPU, just buy it for the suggested retail price (MSRP). The 9800X3D might see some deals, but keep an eye on the 7800X3D too, as it could end up being a steal!
Thanks for the tip! By the way, how does the 7800X3D compare to the 9800X3D? I heard that the 9800X3D is slightly better.
I saw the 7800X3D listed for 370 AUD—is that a good deal? The 9800X3D is around 600 AUD.
Black Friday is often overrated for PC components. Still, keep an eye on sites like OzBargain and PC Part Picker in the coming days. You might catch some great prices there!
Thanks for the links! I’ll definitely be checking those out.

Thanks for the pointers! Do you know if there are specific times during the year when PC components tend to be discounted more heavily? Maybe summer sales or something?
