When should I start building projects instead of just learning programming concepts?

At what point did you all transition from just learning programming concepts to actually building projects? I'm curious about how much I should know before diving in and creating something. What experiences do you have that could guide me?

You'll always learn better by just building things and figuring it out as you go! Dive into projects that challenge you a bit, and you’ll pick up new skills as you hit those hurdles. The best part is that each little bug teaches you something new that no tutorial can.

Absolutely! I've learned that the best way to master a skill is by breaking things and then fixing them. Starting small really helps; even simple projects like a todo app can make everything click for you!
