I'm trying to build a micro ATX PC and really want the Gigabyte RTX 5060 Ti Windforce 16GB GPU (not the OC or 8GB versions). I've noticed that it's mostly out of stock and when I do find it, the prices seem way too high. Does anyone have thoughts on when or if it might be available again at regular retail prices on sites like Newegg or Best Buy? Is it common for GPUs to just stop getting produced until a new generation comes out? I'm kinda new to all this, so any insight would be appreciated!

It's tough to predict for sure when specific models will restock. If you're not set on that exact GPU, maybe consider some alternatives? There are other models like the 9060XT 16GB that are available and offer similar performance. Sometimes chasing a specific model can be frustrating, so just keep your options open and be patient if you want it at a good price!
From what I see, popular GPUs usually see restocks quite often. It’s all about being persistent. If you’re strictly after that 5060 Ti, just be ready to wait a bit or pay a premium if it becomes available. There are tons of similar cards that could fit your build well, though!
Got it! I'll remain patient and keep an eye on other models as well. Thanks for the tips!
Restocks for GPUs like the 5060 Ti happen pretty regularly, usually weekly. You just have to stay vigilant! Joining some Discord servers with stock trackers can really help you catch them as they come back in. Also, just FYI, the overclocked version is $20 more and you can find it available now!
I've read that overclocked cards can have issues like higher temperatures and might wear out faster. Is that true? Should I be worried about that?
Thanks for the advice! I’ll check out those other models too since I don’t have a strong preference for that exact card.
