I'm looking for a reliable way to power my PC's power LED without it being a nuisance when the computer is asleep. Right now, I've got it connected to the +5V on the ARGB header, but the connector keeps slipping off because the pins are so thin. I know the USB headers provide +5V even when the PC is in sleep mode, but I'm hoping for a cleaner solution. What are some other places I can tap into +5V when my PC is powered on?

You might want to try using the 5V rail on your PSU. It’s usually for things like floppy drives, so you might need an adapter to get it to fit. Just make sure you handle it safely!
Honestly, if you don't want the LED to blink when your PC is asleep, consider just leaving the leads not connected. It might not be the most aesthetic solution, but it'll definitely keep things quiet!
I get that, but I really prefer to have it on when the PC is actually running. The blinking when it's off just bugs me too much!
Yeah, I was actually hoping to find a direct header option or maybe adapt it from SATA instead. If that doesn't work out, I guess I'll have to do some soldering to make it happen.
