Hey everyone! I'm trying to reset an old iMac, but I've hit a snag. During a recent visit to the service center, something went wrong, and now the iMac specifically needs **macOS High Sierra (version 10.13)** to be reinstalled. The issue is that Apple has discontinued the official download link for High Sierra, so I can't get the installer directly from their site. The service center also told me I need another Mac with High Sierra to create the installer, which isn't an option for me.
I'm hoping someone here can help! I'm looking for either a reliable source to download the **"Install macOS High Sierra.app"** or any **.dmg/.pkg installer file**. Additionally, if anyone can guide me on how to create a USB installer from a file, that would be amazing! I know it's feasible to make a bootable USB and reinstall from there, but I'm stuck at the point of actually finding the installer. Any assistance would be appreciated! 🙏 Thanks a lot!

You can check out Apple's official support page for macOS High Sierra here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/102662. They have information on how to get the installer, but keep in mind, you’ll need a compatible Mac to download it from there.
Have you considered why it needs to be High Sierra? You could try downloading Sierra instead, which is more readily available online.
Thanks for the suggestion! I need High Sierra (10.13) specifically because my iMac’s firmware requires that version; using Sierra (10.12) won’t work.

Thanks for the link! I understand that Apple provides it, but my issue is I **don’t own a Mac.** I can't access the installer using that link, so I'm still searching for a way to get the file directly.
