I've been waiting to buy Visual Studio 2022 since I heard that the standalone IDE for Visual Studio 2026 would be released today. However, when I check the Microsoft website, it still only shows the 2022 version. What's going on with the 2026 release?

Why even buy it? You could just use the Community edition instead, which has a lot of great features. Just a thought!
I've tried downloading Visual Studio 2026 too, but nothing happens for me. I just get a "Thank You for Downloading" message in Firefox without any actual download. Anyone else experiencing this?
You might want to check out the Visual Studio Installer. When I reinstalled it on my new work laptop, I saw options for both VS2022 and VS2026 there. You should find it in there!

If it's the first day of release, their servers might be overwhelmed. This kind of issue isn't unusual for new releases.
