Where do pod logs go when they’re deleted in OpenShift?

I'm having trouble locating the logs for my pods after they get deleted in OpenShift. I'm using Loki for logging, but it seems like I can't find any traces of the logs once the pods are gone. Could anyone clarify how this works? Do the logs stay in Loki, or are they completely lost? Any help would be appreciated!

If you're running Loki, that's where your logs should be. If you can't find them in Loki, it sounds like they might be lost for good once the pod is deleted. Just make sure Loki is properly set up to capture those logs in the first place.

Are you actually storing the logs anywhere? I’m not familiar with Loki, but if it's set up to save logs in your cluster, they should be retrievable. Seems like a good practice to check that configuration!

Loki can be tricky sometimes, huh? Make sure your pods actually had logs to begin with. You could check with the command 'oc logs '. Just a heads up, if you're using stateless pods, their names can be random, which might complicate things.
