I've had my PC for about 5 years and haven't done much upgrading. Recently, I've been struggling with games like Tekken because I can't play with decent settings without lagging. My current setup includes an RX 5500 XT 8GB, Ryzen 7 2700X, ROG STRIX B450-F Gaming motherboard, and 16GB of RAM. I really want to improve my gaming experience by being able to play with better graphics and at more than 60fps. Any suggestions on what I should upgrade first?

I’d recommend starting with your CPU and motherboard. Since your Ryzen 7 2700X is a bit outdated, upgrading to something like the Ryzen 5000 series could give you a significant boost, especially if you can find one that works with your current motherboard after a BIOS update. Also, look into your RAM to see if it supports higher speeds; faster RAM can help, too! It's definitely worth considering what games you play since some benefit more from CPU upgrades than others.
If you're looking for good value, the Ryzen 5 5600X is a fantastic choice!
You might want to check out PC Game Benchmark. It's a great tool that lets you see how your setup stacks up against different games and suggests what upgrades you need. It'll give you a clearer picture of where to focus your efforts.
Sounds useful! I'm going to check it out and see what I need.
Thanks for the insight! Any specific Ryzen 5000 models you would recommend?
