Where to Find a Mounting Ring for AM4 Socket on My Thermalright Cooler?

Asked By CoolGamer123 On

I recently picked up a Thermalright Frozen Magic 240 White ARGB AIO cooler at a great price, but it didn't come with the necessary mounting ring to fit an AM4 socket. I'm looking for recommendations on where I can purchase just the mounting ring in Canada. Also, any tips on how to ensure I get the right one would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There are really two main types of mounts: clip type and bracket type. If your AIO uses the clip type, those are pretty standard and you can usually find a compatible one on eBay for a decent price. Just keep in mind that some manufacturers might ask for proof of purchase if you're hoping to get one for free.

I've heard that some companies will send you the right mounting hardware if you contact them. Not sure about Thermalright specifically, but it’s worth a shot!

You might want to reach out to Thermalright directly. They sometimes provide replacement mounting hardware if you ask. If they don’t help, checking Amazon or specialized PC parts websites could be your next best bet.
