Hey everyone,
I'm on the hunt for the ESXi 8 ISO for the latest version. Currently, we're running ESXi 8.0 Update 3e, and while there are newer builds available, the built-in update feature says we're compliant and doesn't show any updates.
We have a valid perpetual license—yes, that means it's supposed to be valid forever! Broadcom claims our license is still technically 'perpetual', but I'm not so sure it feels that way considering the difficulties I'm facing.
I've already looked in all the usual spots, like the Broadcom Customer Portal, which feels more like a digital maze lately.
So, to all my fellow perpetual license holders out there, how are you getting access to the software you've already paid for? Thanks!

I believe the last install ISO available is the U3e version, but you can patch it to U3h if you want the latest updates. It's a good alternative for getting the most out of your existing setup.
Isn't it weird that Broadcom has basically phased out perpetual licensing? They just told us to move on from that and switch to their VCF or VVF products if we want to keep up with updates.
You can check out VMpatch for downloads related to VMware and patches. They have ESXi patches along with other updates you might find useful.

Any idea where I can grab that patch?
