Hey everyone! I'm a data engineer specializing in Python and PySpark at AWS. I'm trying to decide between ChatGPT and Claude for my AI projects, but I've noticed a lot of mixed opinions on YouTube about which one performs better. Any thoughts or experiences you can share?

I haven't used Claude myself, but I find GPT-5 to be pretty capable with Python tasks, especially if you're already comfortable with the language.
I've heard a lot of people say neither is ideal for building real skills. It's worth considering what you're trying to achieve and whether these AIs fit that goal.
For multi-file projects, I've had the best success with Claude 3.7, especially when working with languages like Python, C++, and JavaScript. GPT-5 gave me some trouble in comparison, but results can vary, of course! Also, I use GitHub Copilot a lot, mainly in Ask mode.
Personally, I've been getting better results with Claude. However, I've found that it still needs some manual adjustments now and then.
