Which Asus Drivers Should I Download for My New PC Build?

I'm building a new PC using an Asus TUF B850 Plus WiFi motherboard, with an AMD Series 9 CPU and an NVidia 5000 Series GPU. When I checked the Asus driver download page for my motherboard, I was overwhelmed by the number of drivers available, and I have some questions. For instance, why do I see AMD drivers (chipset and graphics) listed on the Asus website? Should I actually be getting those drivers directly from AMD instead? I'm looking for clarity on which drivers I need to download, which ones will be automatically fetched by Windows updates, and if there are any drivers that are unnecessary or just bloatware. Also, is the Asus DriverHub something you'd recommend for this?

The reason you're seeing AMD drivers is that your motherboard is designed to work with AMD chips, so it needs those specific drivers to function optimally. Definitely grab the AMD chipset drivers from the Asus page—they're essential for the motherboard's performance! Windows tends to install generic drivers, but those aren't as efficient. I'd say skip the Asus AI Advisor under utilities since it's not usually necessary. Some might suggest avoiding Armoury Crate & Aura Creator, but I've had no issues with them personally. Just get the relevant drivers from Asus for the best compatibility with your setup!

Thanks for your input! Just to clarify, AMD also has specific drivers for my CPU on their site, along with their Adrenalin software, which I'm not interested in using. Are these drivers the same as what's on the Asus page?
