Hey everyone! I'm new to building PCs – I built my 4060ti a couple of years ago and I'm now upgrading to a 5070ti. I'm a bit confused about which cable to use for this setup. I have an MSI a850G PSU with a 12vHPWR output, and I also have a cable that has the same connector on both ends and is rated for 600W. Can I use this cable to connect my PSU directly to the GPU?

If the cable came with your power supply, you should definitely use it! It’s been designed for that specific unit.
Yes, you can absolutely use that cable. As long as it fits into the 12vHPWR port on your PSU, you’re good to go! The 600W rating is perfect for your needs.
Does it matter which end goes where? They look identical.
+1 for that!
