I'm currently a math student eager to pick up coding but feeling lost on where to begin. I'm particularly interested in AI and SaaS, but I'm also looking for backup options. What programming language do you think would be the best fit for my situation, and why?

If you want to understand the fundamental concepts of programming, C or C++ could be a good route. But honestly, you might find Python to be a much easier and faster way to get into coding, especially if you're leaning towards AI work.

Python would be a fantastic starting point! It has tons of libraries for math work, like NumPy and Matplotlib, which could really be beneficial for someone with your background.

I've heard great things about TypeScript too! It's nice to work with and is great if you want to get into web development down the line.

I recommend starting with Python. It's super beginner-friendly and widely used in fields like AI and data science, so it keeps your options open for the future.
