I'm building my first PC and considering the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X. However, I'm planning to pair it with an RTX 5070 and I'm worried about potential bottlenecking. I also came across the Ryzen 7 9700X, which seems slightly better but doesn't have integrated graphics. Is it worth the upgrade?

Honestly, I don't think the 7700X will bottleneck your RTX 5070 at all. A lot of people misinterpret what 'bottlenecking' really means. For high-end GPUs, like a 4090 or an upcoming 5090, you might see some tiny gains with a top-tier CPU, but not much, especially for an RTX 5070. The 7700X should handle it just fine. If you're worried, maybe consider the 7800X3D as an alternative option.
Since this is my first build, I was using a bottleneck calculator that said there might be a 10% bottleneck with the 7700X. Could that be accurate?
