I'm looking for some advice on whether I should go with the AMD 8700G and wait to buy a GPU until GTA 6's requirements are out, or if I should invest in a 7600X with a 9060XT 16GB GPU now. Just to clarify, I won't be able to change the CPU when GTA 6 launches, and the 7600X + GPU combo is pushing my budget by about 10%. I'm aiming for 1080p or 1440p gaming and also want to play titles like Battle Brothers, RDR2, WoW, and Dota 2.

If you're looking to play those games, the 8700G won't cut it properly. You're probably going to regret it later if you go with the 8700G.
Definitely go for the 7600X. The 8700G isn't really suited for gaming performance. You'll have a much better experience with the 7600X and the GPU you mentioned.
But can I manage to play WoW and Dota on the 8700G, maybe until I get a new GPU in a year?
Consider that GTA 6 is likely a couple of years away on PC. You might want to invest in a better 8-core CPU now, like the 7700, instead of going with the 8700G, which is less capable due to limited cache and PCIe lanes.
Still, I should be able to play WoW and Dota on it, right? It might just take a while until I upgrade.
