Hey everyone! I'm building a new PC primarily for gaming, but I also want to dabble in some video editing. I've heard that Intel CPUs can be better for productivity tasks, but since I'll be using it for about 85% gaming and just 15% amateur editing, I'm trying to figure out if I should go with Intel or stick with AMD and its extra 3D cache. By the way, I'm planning to pair it with a 9070 XT. What do you think?

For sure, go with the 7600X3D! It's optimized for gaming, and that extra 3D cache really helps with performance.
In my opinion, the 7600X3D might not be the best for productivity. You might want to check out the Ryzen 7 7800X3D or 9800X3D since they offer more cores and could handle both gaming and editing well.
I’d just stick with the Ryzen 7600X3D. It’s a solid choice for gaming, especially with a high-end GPU like the 9070 XT.
These CPUs are quite different, and the price might be an issue too. Why are you choosing between these two? The 3D cache on the Ryzen is fantastic for gaming, especially with top-tier GPUs. On the other hand, the Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF has 20 cores, which is pretty impressive. Maybe consider something like the AMD Ryzen 7900 for a balance of gaming and productivity. What do you think?
Thanks for the input! It seems like sticking with the 7600X3D is the way to go for gaming.
Actually, the pricing is pretty similar for the 7600X3D and the Ultra 7 in my country, just about $50 more than a 7900X.
