I'm trying to decide between three CPUs for my setup. The options are the i7-12700f, i5-14400f, and i5-14600kf. The 12700f and 14400f are priced the same for me, while the 14600kf is around $50 more. I'm mostly focused on gaming but also do some work with After Effects and Premiere Pro. Is the extra $50 for the 14600kf really worth it in terms of performance? Also, I've ruled out AM5 because DDR5 prices are too high right now.

If you're doing a lot of video editing in Premiere Pro, it might be worth looking at a non-F CPU. They have integrated graphics, which can help with dual encoding when paired with a GPU. Just something to consider!
I checked out some benchmarks, and the 14600kf shows a significant performance boost in gaming compared to the others. If you're primarily gaming, that difference might justify the extra $50!
But is it really $50 better in your opinion?
That makes sense, but I've noticed that non-F CPUs aren't really available and they tend to be more expensive.
