Which CPU Should I Choose: i7 12700 or i7 13700?

Hey everyone! I'm trying to decide between two CPUs, the Intel i7 12700 and the i7 13700. Right now, I have an 8700k running at 4.8GHz with a Maximus X Code motherboard, 32GB of DDR4 RAM at 3600MHz, and a Palit OC 3080 graphics card. I game at 1440p and I'm also planning to upgrade to DDR5 RAM soon. I've heard that the 13700 is the better option, but I've come across some reports of stability issues. What do you all think? Which of these CPUs would be the more stable and overall better choice for my setup? Thanks!

I haven't seen much about instability with the 13th and 14th gen CPUs lately, so I'm guessing Intel sorted that out with BIOS updates. If the 13700 you're considering is new, I'd go for it without hesitation. If it’s used, though, I’d be a bit more careful.

Both CPUs will mainly be used for general work. Do you really think the 13700 is the better option?
