I'm leaning towards an Intel CPU since the DDR5 RAM prices are through the roof and the Ryzen 5800X3D costs the same as some higher models in my area, while the Intel 14600KF is much cheaper. I'm considering using an Intel 14100F with a 5060 at 1440p. I know the 5060 isn't ideal for that resolution, but I'm okay with medium settings and even low settings since I'm used to integrated graphics. I'm concerned about potential bottlenecking. Would the 14100F perform significantly better or worse compared to the 3600 or 5500 in my setup?

A few things to consider: the 5500 only supports PCIe 3.0, which could bottleneck you at 1440p with the 5060. I'd recommend going for either a 5600 with a B550 motherboard or sticking with the 14100F and an H610 board, both of which support PCIe 4.0. If you're on a tight budget, the 3600 and B550 combo could also give you a solid performance boost thanks to more cores, but if you can swing for the 5600, that’s the best route for gaming.
Have you thought about the Intel 12400F? It might be worth it, especially since you're gaming at 1440p. The ARC B580 could also be a cost-effective option, as the 8GB VRAM on the 5060 might lead to some stuttering even on lower settings.
