I'm currently gaming at 1080p but I'm looking to upgrade to 1440p when I get my new PC since my 1050 Ti has died. I primarily play FPS and enjoy horror games as well. I've narrowed down my GPU options to the following: RTX 5060 Ti (16GB), RTX 5070, and Radeon RX 9060 XT. My budget is €600, and I'm also considering the RTX 5070 Ti, but I'm not sure if paying an extra €200 for it is worth it. What do you all think?

The RTX 5070 is definitely the best choice among your options! Sure, the 5070 Ti offers a bit more performance, but if you're on a tight budget, it’s not essential unless you can stretch your budget. For 1440p, the 5070 should serve you well for many games.

You might want to check out the RX 9070 or even the 9070 XT, both excellent cards for 1440p gaming. They tend to provide great performance and might fit within your ±€40 range if you can find a good deal. I'd recommend comparing benchmarks for the games you mainly play.

It really comes down to local pricing for you. If the 5070 is available between €540-€600 where you are, that's a fair price. I went with the 5070 shortly after release, and it’s performed solidly. Just ensure you check some benchmarks for the specific games you enjoy—and remember, the 5070 Ti is great if you're considering future-proofing your setup!

In Italy, €540 for the RTX 5070 seems reasonable, especially if it’s a solid brand! If you have the opportunity to spend a little more on the 9070, it could be worth the investment down the line.
