Hey folks, I'm weighing my options for a new GPU. I've narrowed it down to three contenders, all priced around $999: the RX 7900 XTX, RX 9070 XT, and RTX 5070 Ti. I have a Ryzen 9 9950X CPU, and my main focus will be on gaming. Which one do you think is the best choice?

If they’re all about the same price, I’d definitely go for the RTX 5070 Ti. It seems to be the most balanced option for gaming right now.
While the RX 9070 XT offers better ray tracing performance, the RX 7900 XTX is faster in most games and has more VRAM. If you're into modding games, the extra VRAM could be handy. Just some food for thought!
Most of these GPUs will be within $200 of each other right now. Based on your setup, I’d lean towards either the RX 9070 XT or the RTX 5070 Ti for gaming. The 7900 XTX might deliver a few extra frames, but it’s not a big enough difference to justify the price unless you find a great deal. Plus, NVIDIA is still great for ray tracing and streaming performance.
I’d stick with my initial recommendation. The extra VRAM in the 7900 XTX is helpful for certain games, but changing texture settings can solve that issue. All three should last for multiple years without any major concerns.
Honestly, just grab whichever one is the cheapest. If you're after specific features, NVIDIA's the way to go, but price really matters here!
I actually have a 4K monitor and plan to game at 1440p upscaled. I'm really looking for a GPU that lasts a few years as I want to skip the next generation, so I'm leaning towards future-proofing.
