I found some good deals on GPUs lately: the RX 6800 XT is priced at $330, while the RTX 3080 Ti is at $440. I'm trying to figure out which one would be a better investment for playing modern AAA games in 1440p at high settings over the next 3-4 years. If anyone has suggestions for where to find these GPUs at a lower price, I'd love to hear them. Thanks!

Both GPUs are overpriced for used hardware right now. Depending on the region, it might be worth considering a newer option within the same budget range instead.
While both of these options are available, I’d suggest looking at a newer model, like the MSI Shadow 5070 for $490. It offers great performance for the price and newer tech support.
Between those two, I'd lean towards the 3080 Ti. Even though it has less RAM, it performs better with ray tracing and future games, making it a more lasting choice.
I second that! The 3080 Ti is definitely a better performer for gaming.
Honestly, at those price points, buying new might be a smarter move. You could check out options like the 9060 XT; it's a great investment that provides solid performance, especially with features like FSR 4. Higher VRAM and warranty coverage are big pluses too!
Exactly! Older models might not provide the same future-proofing.
If budget allows, aim for the 5070 or even the 9070 for just a little bit more. You'll get newer tech and great performance without having to deal with the drawbacks of used cards!
Yes! If you're ready to spend $440, just save a bit more and go for one of the latest models.

Totally agree, that's a solid choice!
