Hey everyone! I'm planning to build a gaming PC with an R7 5700X and I'm debating between getting an RTX 5060 or a 9070XT for gaming at 1080p. I'll mainly be playing FPS games like CS, Rust, Valorant, Warzone, and PUBG. Is there a significant difference in FPS performance between the two cards at that resolution?

If I were in the market for a GPU right now, I'd lean towards the 5070 since I game at 1080p. It's a good option to consider!

Check out online reviews for both GPUs. You can find gaming benchmarks that compare their performance at 1080p across various games, which should help clarify things for you.

Here's some great info on this topic: https://youtu.be/AGKF4cw8kHY?si=FIIdKJ5QcBpisFJ8. If price is a big factor, consider the 9060XT with 16GB.

I'd definitely go with the 9070XT. It's newer, has more VRAM, and generally gives better FPS in most games. The 5060 only has 8GB, which can be a bottleneck in some scenarios.
