I'm looking for a GPU that will be future-proof and efficient for both gaming and productivity to pair with my 7700. My budget is around $340 to $370. I plan to use applications like After Effects, Premiere Pro, Blender, and DaVinci Resolve, so I need something that can handle those workloads.

That budget is quite tight right now. You could look for a 5060 Ti with 8GB of VRAM, but 8GB might not cut it for all your tasks. If you can stretch your budget a bit, go for at least a 5060 Ti with 16GB. Alternatively, the AMD RX 9060 XT with 16GB could be a good, more affordable choice, but remember, most productivity apps prefer Nvidia, especially if they utilize CUDA.

Since you’re focused on editing, it might be worth looking into RDNA3 cards for better AV1 support. If you're lucky, you could snag a 7800 XT for under $400.

You might find an RTX 3080 with 10GB of VRAM for about that price on eBay. If you're sticking to new cards, consider the RTX 5060 or the RX 9060 XT with 8GB. Just keep in mind that 8GB could be limiting for larger projects.
