Which GPU Should I Choose for My First PC Build?

Hey everyone, I just switched from console gaming to PC and built my first rig! Here's what I've got so far: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X CPU, MSI B650 Eagle WiFi AX motherboard, Crucial Pro OC 32GB DDR5 RAM at 6000MHz, a WD SN7100 1TB SSD and a 1TB HDD for storage, and a Seasonic Plat 860W PSU. Currently, I'm using a free NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti, but I'm looking to upgrade my GPU. I plan to stream on Twitch and YouTube and play games like CS:GO, Rainbow Six, Fortnite, and GTA. I'm hoping for a GPU that performs well and lasts about 3-5 years without breaking the bank. Here are some options I'm considering:
1. ASUS Dual Radeon RX 7800 XT 16GB - $650 CAD (~$469 USD) before tax
2. Gigabyte Radeon RX 7800 XT 16GB - $678 CAD (~$490 USD) before tax
3. Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 - $659.99 USD
4. Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB - $719.99 USD
5. PNY GeForce RTX 5070 (12GB) - $549 USD

Given my current setup and what I plan to do with it, which GPU would give me the best performance and value? Are there major differences in performance between these options, especially for streaming and gaming at 1080p/1440p? Any other suggestions would be great! Thanks for your help!

I'd suggest looking into the RX 9060XT too. It's cheaper and still a solid card, but make sure to check benchmarks for its performance. It's a good balance if you're on a tighter budget!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely look into it, but how does it stack up against the 5070?

For your budget and needs, the PNY GeForce RTX 5070 seems like the best pick. It's solid for both streaming and gaming with great performance for the price. There's a meta review comparing it with the RX 9070, where the 9070 is about 5% faster at 1080p, but the 5070 should handle everything you need just fine, especially at 1080p/1440p! I appreciate the input! I've seen mixed opinions about the 12GB of VRAM on the 5070. Should I consider that a big deal?

Honestly, I'd recommend the 9070 or the 5070. However, the 9070 is closer to the 5070 Ti, making it the strongest card among your options. If you're looking for longevity and performance, the 9070 is a solid choice without going over your budget!

That sounds convincing! The 9070 does seem to offer the best price-to-performance ratio. I might lean towards that!
