Which GPU Should I Choose for My New PC: Gainward 5070 Ti or XFX 9070 XT?

I'm in the process of building my first PC and I can't seem to decide between two graphics cards: the Gainward 5070 Ti Phoenix S (SFF) and the XFX 9070 XT OC. The performance and FPS rates for both cards are very similar, and there's only a €100 difference between them. I'm planning to game on a 1440p 144Hz monitor and also use a 4K TV with 120Hz. This decision has been stressing me out so much that I'm even considering getting a PS5 Pro instead!

Ultimately, it's your choice. If you're focused on pure gaming performance, the 9070 XT is a great option. Plus, you could use those savings for an extra SSD or save them for future upgrades.

I'd recommend going for the 5070 Ti if the price difference is just €100. Keep in mind that AMD GPUs tend to depreciate faster than Nvidia cards, so that €100 gap might become even more significant down the line.

The 5070 Ti is about 2% faster in various games when compared to the 9070 XT. So, €100 for just a slight performance boost might not be worth it in the long run.

Honestly, don't switch to a PS5 Pro. You'll end up paying just to go online while missing out on a huge library of PC games. If you want to future-proof your gaming, the 9070 XT is a solid choice; it's faster than what the rumored PS6 specs are suggesting.

Just go for the PS5 Pro and save yourself the hassle!

Yeah, but I really want to experience the full range of PC gaming!
