I'm looking to build a new gaming PC that can handle titles like Apex Legends, BF6, Black Ops 7, and Helldivers 2, plus do some light productivity tasks in Blender and SOLIDWORKS. My budget is around $500 to $600, not counting the case and storage, but I'm willing to stretch it a bit if necessary. I've narrowed my options down to two GPUs:
1. **RTX 3070 Ti 8GB for $220** – This would let me spend less on the rest of my build.
2. **RTX 5060 Ti 16GB for $450** – This would leave me with about $150 for everything else, likely a Ryzen 5 3600 setup.
I'm aiming for my PC to last at least 2 years before needing upgrades, but I'm planning to keep the GPU longer. Is the newer architecture and DLSS 3.5 support on the 5060 Ti worth the extra money, or is the 3070 Ti a better value in the long run? I'd appreciate any thoughts or suggestions on this setup!

For $220, the 3070 Ti is a fantastic deal. It’s hard to beat that price for the performance you're getting!
If you're looking at an RX 9070 XT but it's above your budget, I'd say stick with the 3070 Ti for now. It’s a great card and should last you a while!
Yeah, but sadly the prices get wild in different countries. I can't even afford some options right now!
While the 3070 Ti is a good value, consider the 5060 Ti. You'll get newer features and DLSS 3.5, which really enhance gaming, especially in the long term.
That’s fair! But if you were in this situation, would you really let the rest of your build stay lower end until upgrades? That’s a tough pill to swallow!
The 5060 Ti is definitely pricier, but it has benefits for future games. The 3070 Ti at $220 is a steal; if you think you might upgrade soon, that might be the way to go!

Exactly! I’m a bit tempted by the latest tech too, but at that price, the 3070 Ti seems solid. I want to make sure I don’t overspend.
