Which GPU Should I Choose for Playing Arc Raiders: 9060 XT 8GB or RTX 5060?

I'm looking to upgrade from my Radeon 760M iGPU in an old laptop. I mainly play Arc Raiders and I'm working with a budget of around $300, though I see the 9060 XT 8GB for $315 and the RTX 5060 for $365 available locally. I use a basic 1080p 100Hz monitor, and while I do have a 4K 120Hz TV, I'm fine lowering the settings if necessary. I know there are suggestions for the more expensive 16GB version of the 9060 XT, but at $500, I'm unsure if that extra cost is justified. What would you recommend in terms of performance and value?

For playing Arc Raiders, I'd suggest the RTX 5060. It’s generally faster for that game and has better features like DLSS which can really improve your experience. However, if the 9060 XT 8GB is cheaper where you are, that could be a solid option too, as it performs well overall in different scenarios.

I’ve read that Arc Raiders runs better on Nvidia, so if that’s your main game, the 5060 might be the way to go. Just don’t overlook the 9060 XT if it's cheaper—sometimes saving a little can get you the same experience!

Don’t forget to check out user reviews and benchmarks. If the 9060 XT is significantly less, it might be worth the savings even if it’s not the top choice for Arc Raiders. You can always upgrade later!

If you're into long-term performance, the 5060 is great for modern features and updates. But if you're primarily gaming at 1080p and your budget is tight, stick with the cheaper option that meets your needs.

Go for the RX 9060 XT 8GB if it's less expensive. They’re pretty close in performance, but for Arc Raiders, the 5060 has a slight edge. Just keep an eye on VRAM usage, as the 9060 XT manages that a bit better in other games. If you find a good deal on it, grab it!

Yeah, but the difference isn't huge for most games, just check benchmarks to see what suits your needs. Price should definitely be the deciding factor here.
