I'm considering two GPUs—the MSI Ventus 3X OC and the Gainward Phoenix-S. They are priced the same right now during a sale, so I'm looking for some advice on which one would be the better pick.

Really, it depends on your preferences. Some swear by the Gainward, but others prefer the MSI Ventus. Keep in mind that the Ventus line has had some reported issues with fan noise and cooling, but its PCB design is top-notch.
