Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and need some advice. Currently, I have an RTX 4060, but I'm considering getting an RTX 5070. However, I've been seeing a lot of recommendations for the RX 9070 XT lately. I mainly use my GPU for gaming, and I know the 9070 XT has about 20% better performance. I really like the NVIDIA support and regular updates, plus the 5070 has DLSS technology. Given all this, which one would you recommend I go for?

While the RTX 5070 does feature DLSS, the 9070 XT has a performance edge overall. It’s more similar to the 5070 Ti, which means it will outperform the base 5070 significantly. If the pricing of the 5070 is more attractive and you prioritize NVIDIA features, it’s worth considering, but purely for gaming, the 9070 XT is the way to go.
In terms of pure gaming performance, the RX 9070 XT is definitely the better option. Unless you're facing crazy price differences in your area, I'd say go for the 9070 XT. It's really built for gaming.
The 9070 XT has more VRAM and higher performance, plus it supports FSR 4. Even if some games don’t support FSR, you can usually find ways around issues, especially in games that lack anti-cheat features.

Just to add, I live in Italy too, and the RTX 5070 is priced around 600 euros, which isn't a small amount.
