I'm looking to upgrade from my current RTX 4060 and am torn between the RTX 5080 and the RX 9070XT. I've seen loads of reviews and I'm leaning more toward the AMD card, but I keep hearing about issues like crashing and stuttering associated with it. I'd really appreciate any insights you might have on which card would be a better fit for my setup. Here are the prices I've found: RTX 5080 (16GB) for $999.99 and RX 9070XT (16GB) for $769.99. My build includes an i7-14700KF, 32GB RAM, and an 850W PSU.

As an AMD fan, I say go for the 5080 if the price is legit. It's just a better card overall, and you'd gain more features like DLSS which really boosts performance in games. Plus, if you find it for that MSRP, it’s a huge win!
Honestly, I have the RX 9070XT and it's been great for me, no issues yet! But if you find the RTX 5080 for $999, you might want to consider it since it's generally more powerful. If your price is accurate, the 5080 could be a better investment.
If you can get the RTX 5080 for that price, just go for it! Seriously, there's no contest. NVIDIA has better software support and performance too, plus you can overclock it for even more power. I gained about 13% extra performance with a decent overclock on mine in Arc Raiders. Really, if the price is as good as you say, it's a steal!

Yeah, I keep seeing it priced higher, so if you found it at that price, don’t hesitate. You’ll be happy with the performance boost.
