Which GPU Should I Choose: RX 7800XT or RTX 5060Ti for Productivity?

I'm considering whether to go for an RX 7800XT or an RTX 5060Ti for a project I have in mind. They cost about the same where I live. I do some gaming, but my main focus is 3D rendering and video editing as a hobby. I've heard that Nvidia cards perform better with many of the rendering software options since they use CUDA. What do you all think? I'd like to factor in hardware capabilities and any software optimizations, including my interest in any frame generation features.

I'd go with the RTX 5060Ti, especially for 3D rendering. Nvidia GPUs are generally better for this because most rendering engines leverage CUDA, which gives them a significant edge. If you want to check performance, you can look at Blender's benchmark scores that compare different GPUs.

No question about it, the 5060Ti is the way to go. It's specifically designed to handle tasks like yours better than the 7800XT.

Definitely pick the 5060Ti, it's much better suited for your productivity needs. It'll serve you well for both rendering and editing tasks!

You could also consider the RX 7800XT if you're looking for a more balanced performance in gaming. But if productivity is your main concern, the 5060Ti is likely your best bet.

But the 7800XT has some good value for gaming too. I get what you're saying, but the 5060Ti really shines in productivity tasks.

True, but given the specific software you're using, the 5060Ti will still give you that extra boost in rendering.
