Hey everyone! I'm building my first PC after being a Mac and console gamer for ages, and I'm super excited to finally dive into PC and VR gaming. I managed to score two GPUs: a 9070 XT for $729 (which comes to about $787 after tax) and a 5070 Ti for $839 (roughly $913 after tax). Now I'm in a bit of a dilemma and trying to decide which one I should return. Any thoughts on which GPU would be the better choice for a newbie like me?

I'd stick with the 9070 XT. The performance gap is minimal, and saving that extra cash is a smart move.
Honestly, I think the 5070 Ti is worth the extra $125 for DLSS4 and better ray tracing. If you can afford it, go for the one that's more advanced.
If you’re not tied to any particular software, I’d go with the cheaper option. Both GPUs perform similarly for gaming, so if gaming's your main goal, the 9070 XT is a solid choice without burning a hole in your wallet.
I’d say keep the 9070 XT! AMD deserves some love this time around, and the performance difference isn't enough to risk the extra money.
For me, I went with the 5070 Ti and I’m really happy with it. If you’ve got the budget for that extra $130, I’d recommend going with it, especially since you seem keen on the better hardware.
Thanks for the insight! I really want to make the most of my investment.
True, but if you're just gaming casually, the 9070 XT might still be the better bang for your buck.
