I'm currently using a 4060 Ti with 16GB of VRAM, and it handles 1080p gaming well at 180fps on high settings for most titles. However, I'm looking to level up my gaming experience with higher resolutions. I want to be able to play most shooters at 1440p with high or ultra settings aiming for 120fps and single-player games at 4K with 60fps. Here are my specs:
- Intel i7-14700F
- 32GB DDR5 RAM
- 850W PSU
I've found a few GPUs in my price range: a 3080 for $320 or a 3080 Ti for $470, and a new 5070 for $550. Should I stick with the older 30 series or invest more in a new high-end card?

I'd suggest looking for a card that offers longevity, especially since VRAM needs are increasing. A 16GB card is generally recommended for future-proofing. Have you checked the price for a 9070 16GB? It could be a good investment if it's within your budget.

The lowest I found was $730, and the average price seems to be around $800.
