Which graphics card is better for gaming: RTX 5060 Ti or RX 7700 XT?

I'm building a new PC and I'm torn between getting an RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB of memory or an RX 7700 XT with 12GB. The prices are about the same where I live, so that isn't a factor for me. I mainly play Rainbow Six Siege and Apex Legends, plus some single-player story games. I'm also looking forward to playing GTA 6 when it comes out. I game at 1080p, so I'd love to know which card will give me better FPS and overall performance for these games. If there are any better options out there for a similar price, I'd appreciate those suggestions too!

I’d say go with the 5060 Ti 16GB. It’s a solid pick for gaming at 1080p, especially for what you play.

Honestly, going with the RTX 5060 Ti seems like the easiest choice here. It's just a great card for your needs without overcomplicating things.

Definitely the RTX 5060 Ti is the way to go. You won’t regret it!

If you want my opinion, just grab the RTX 5060 Ti. It seems to provide the best overall value for the gaming you’re aiming to do.

From what I've seen, the RTX 5060 Ti usually offers slightly better raster performance on average. It also excelled in areas like ray tracing, upscaling, and has better encoder capabilities. If you’re diving into story-driven games, it might serve you well there too! For Apex and R6S specifically, while they may not fully utilize its features, the overall experience should still be solid.

Yeah, I hear it's particularly strong in those genres, but you might not feel the difference in FPS for the competitive shooters since they don't leverage every advanced feature.
