I'm trying to figure out which graphics card offers the best value for money. I know the RX 9070XT is a better card overall, but it costs €799 (about $906 after tax), whereas the GTX 5070 is going for €624 (around $708 after tax) and is below its MSRP. Since I'm on a budget, I want to understand if the jump in price for the 9070XT is justified or if the 5070 can still deliver good performance for my gaming needs.

It really depends on what you can spend, haha. If you can snag the 9070XT at that price, it could be worth it for better performance, but if the cost is stretching your budget, the GTX 5070 is still a solid pick and often found at MSRP.

Totally agree! It's just that the 800€ for the 9070XT is pushing it for me, and I’ve heard that prices might not drop anytime soon.

Definitely lean towards the 9070XT! But remember, if your budget is tight, the GTX 5070 still performs well and is more likely to be available at a fair price.

If the 9070XT is out of your budget, then it’s a no-brainer. The GTX 5070 is still a good option even though the 9070XT is better on paper.

I'd say go for the 9070XT if you can afford it! It's a stronger card overall, but just be cautious about spending too much over MSRP. It's tough to get a good deal on it nowadays.

I hear you! 800€ is already above what I wanted to spend, so I'm wondering if waiting a bit could help find a better deal.

The 5070's VRAM is decent for most games, but recent titles are pretty demanding. If you're okay with tweaking settings for optimization, the 5070 will manage just fine. It performs well and is available at MSRP often, but the 9070XT can offer better value in the long run.
