Which Graphics Card Should I Choose for 1080p Gaming: 9060 XT 16GB or 5060 Ti 8GB?

I'm trying to decide between the 9060 XT with 16GB of VRAM and the 5060 Ti with 8GB. Since I only play games at 1080p, I'm not sure if the extra 8GB will make a significant difference. Both cards are priced similarly, although the 5060 Ti is a bit cheaper. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It really depends on the game and how it performs with those cards. Benchmarks would give you a clearer picture, so definitely check that out before you make up your mind.

If you're planning to keep your graphics card for a while, go for the 9060 XT. The 8GB just isn't going to be enough as games evolve.

Honestly, I wouldn't advise getting an 8GB VRAM GPU in 2026. I'd suggest looking at something with at least 12GB for future-proofing.

If you've got a weaker CPU or motherboard, the 5060 Ti might struggle at times due to VRAM limitations, especially in more demanding games. For peace of mind, I’d pick the 9060 XT.
