I'm looking to add a graphics card to my computer to play a game called Schedule 1. The minimum requirement for the game is a GeForce GTX 1060. I was wondering if I could get away with using a GT 1030 instead or if that's just not going to cut it. What do you think?

The GT 1030 is pretty slow for gaming, so I wouldn't recommend it. You'd likely run into performance issues that would ruin the experience.
I'd recommend looking into a 1050 Ti with 4GB of RAM instead. The EVGA version doesn't need extra power, and it’d be a solid pick. I used one for years as a backup card. Also, make sure your RAM meets the game's requirements – it recommends over 3GB, so going for 4GB minimum is smart. And definitely avoid the 3GB versions of any card you consider!
